DBA at Coliseum of Comics in Kissimmee, FL

The DBA Open Tournament took place in the second half of the Games Day at the Coliseum of Comics in Kissimmee, FL on January 9, 2010.

We had a total of 6 players and we played 6 rounds. Standard NASAMW scoring was used.

Devin Gause (L) and the Later Samurai face off against Dave Blackmon (R) and his Christian Nubians.

Rich Gause (L) with Ptolemaics takes on Chris Draper (R) and the Ancient British.

Jim Riley (L) with Mithriadics fights Marty Schmidt (R) and the Scots Common.

Rich Gause (L) and Marty Schmidt (R) go face to face in the final battle to determine the champion. Rich is finding that the Scots are a tough nut to crack in the “Bad Going Hell” he put down.

As you can see, the final battle between Ptolemaics and Scots took place in a clearing amongst all of the bad going.

Some of the players that participated in the event.

(L to R) Rich Gause, Devin Gause, Dave Blackmon, Marty Schmidt, Chris Draper and Tony Aguilar.

Congrats to Marty Schmidt who won the Open DBA Tournament Plaque, and is now qualified for the NICT 2010 at Historicon in July 2010.
